What to expect
It is a scenic road trip through South Auckland and Waikato with New Zealand’s finest scenery. Leave Auckland City 6:30am and arrive Wai O Tapu Geo Thermal Wonderland 10am. You will have one and half hours to experience Wai O Tapu.
The most popular walk takes 45 minutes. Leave Wai O Tapu 11:30am and arrive Te Puia 12pm. You will have one and half hours to experience Te Puia.
Te Puia is New Zealand’s geo thermal wonderland featuring dramatic geysers, bubbling mud pools and traditional carvers and weavers. Leave Rotorua 1:30pm and arrive Auckland City 4:30pm. Wai O Tapu and Te Puia has got onsite cafe for quick lunch.
